Every child has the right to play....

What do you get when bring together a crazy in love couple, two rambunctious boys and empty hilltop in the Kansas sunset?  A stellar photoshoot.  When Stephanie and I first talked about doing a belly photoshoot we tossed ideas around here and there. We emailed back and forth any slightly creative pics we came across on the web and I knew her ultimate wishes:  something fun, whimsical, and nothing too serious.  I think it would have been impossible to capture 'too serious' with the Bolton Family.  They were such a blast and I learned something real quick and fast during this first endeavor in a 'photoshoot'

Photography lesson #1:  Every child has the right to play...so let them PLAY!

And play they did.  While we were lucky to get off several 'offical' family shots, many of the other fleeting moments of the boys were completely candid-photos that could not be posed nor repeated.  They were just boys being boys, chasing 'deer and bears' in the forest and picking weeds for their mommy to make them proud.
